The U.S. personal income and spending data for May is expected at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the dollar showed mixed trading against its major counterparts. While the dollar moved sideways against the yen, franc and pound, it fell against the euro.
As of 8:25 am ET, the greenback traded at 1.2622 against the euro, 1.5634 against the pound, 0.9537 against the franc and 79.53 against the yen.
