Transense Technologies Six-month Loss Widens

Transense Technologies plc (TRT.L) announced its interim results for the six and twelve month periods ended 31 December 2011 following the Company's change in accounting reference date as announced on 11 June 2012.

In the six months to 31 December 2011, Loss from continuing operations was GBP 1.04 million, compared to a loss of GBP 654,000 in the same period last year. On a per share basis, net loss was 0.78 pence, compared to a loss of 0.49 pence in the same period last year. Sales were GBP 414,000, compared to GBP 413,000 in the year ago period.

In the twelve months to 31 December 2011, loss from continuing operations was GBP 1.80 million, compared to a loss of GBP 1.45 million in the prior year. On a per share basis, loss was 1.35 pence, compared to a loss of 1.39 pence in the previous year. Sales were GBP 663,000, compared to GBP 656,000 last year.
