PC Mall Announces Management Changes

PC Mall Inc. (MALL: Quote) announced management changes made by its Board of Directors in connection with its Annual Meeting of Stockholders and Directors held on June 25, 2012.

Kristin Rogers, who was previously Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will now serve as Executive Vice President of Marketing.

Joseph Hayek, who had previously served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, will now serve as President of PC Mall's Sarcom subsidiary, leading PC Mall's MME segment.

Also of significance, Simon Abuyounes was designated by PC Mall's Board of Directors as an executive officer of the Company under Section 16 of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, serving in the position of President of the company's AF Services subsidiary.

President Barack Obama delivered a highly-anticipated speech on his administration's evolving counterterrorism policies on Thursday, suggesting that the U.S. needs to move away from a "boundless global war on terror." More than a decade after the 9/11 attacks, Obama argued that the terrorist threat has shifted and evolved. In another upbeat sign for the U.S. housing market, the Commerce Department released a report on Thursday showing that new home sales came in well above economist estimates in the month of April. The report showed that new home sales climbed 2.3 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 454,000 in April from the revised March rate of 444,000.
