The video for Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston's collaboration "Celebrate" has hit the web. The track was recorded by Jordin with the late R&B icon for their film Sparkle, which hits theaters on August 10.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Jordin explained that the video for the R. Kelly-produced track was put together as a tribute to Whitney after her passing:
"What we wanted to do was make sure that this was a fun, happy video and just kind of dedicating it to her. What better song to leave for people to hear than a song that is so upbeat and just so happy and so encouraging?"
Whitney plays Jordin's mother in the film, which also stars Derek Luke, Omari Hardwick, Goapele, Carmen Ejogo, and Tika Sumpter.
