China's manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index dropped to 50.2 in June from 50.4 in May, the National Bureau of Statistics and China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said Sunday. A reading above 50 indicates expansion.
Markit Economics had said on June 21 that the flash HSBC purchasing managers' index for the manufacturing sector fell to a seven-month low of 48.1 in June from 48.4 in May.
