Katie Holmes and daughter Suri have reportedly moved out of the apartment they shared with Tom Cruise in New York City. The move came just on Friday, June 29, the same day she filed for divorce from the actor.
Thus far there is no official word as to why Katie broke it off with Tom, speculation has risen that Holmes could no longer tolerate Cruise's ardent belief in Scientology. News of the split broke over the weekend and Cruise was reportedly completely oblivious to Katie's plan to end the marriage.
According to examiner.com Katie and Suri have taken a new apartment in New York that is closer to Suri's ballet studio. Thus far there has been no word on the split from either Tom or Katie and Cruise is currently in Iceland filming his new project "Oblivion."
