Jay-Z and Kanye West took home two awards—Best Group (Watch the Throne) and Video of the Year ("Otis")—at the 2012 BET Awards.
"I'm bad at losing, and I'm bad at winning," West said in his acceptance speech. "I'm already saying the wrong thing. I wish Jay-Z was here to say something politically correct for me."
As Ye uttered these words, Jigga appeared on the stage, explaining that he had been held up in traffic.
"We worked really hard on this album," Jay-Z added. "We didn't take anything for granted. We didn't rely on our name . . . We're going to just keep making the best stuff ever."
Beyoncé (Best Female R&B Artist), Chris Brown (Best Male R&B Artist), Nicki Minaj (Best Female Hip-Hop Artist) and Big Sean (Best New Artist) were the night's other big winners.
