Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (EEP) Monday updated its financial outlook for fiscal year 2012. The company has forecast a full-year adjusted net income in the range of $440 million to $470 million, with adjusted EBITDA expected to range between $1.12 and $1.17 billion.
On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters currently the company to earn $1.33 per share, for the fiscal year 2012. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Mark Maki, president of the Partnership said that the company will face challenges over its near term planning horizon, in light of the recent events in the natural gas and NGL commodities market. As a result, the company plans to reduce capital investment into the natural gas business in the near term.
