Itelligence Buys SAP BusinessObjects Partner Blueprint Management Systems

itelligence AG (ILHG: Quote) has acquired the British company Blueprint Management Systems Ltd., London, one of SAP BusinessObjects partners, by its Ascot-based British subsidiary itelligence UK. The company said this transaction represents a significant expansion in the range of services offered by itelligence in the UK in the growth segments of business analytics and SAP BusinessObjects.

Commenting on the purchase, Justin Brading, Managing Director UK, itelligence AG noted, 'This acquisition will give us market- leading scope in the high-growth area of business analytics. This move will further enhance our capability to be the SAP expert partner that both our customers and SAP can rely on. With this move, we will enter new and important service industries such as the financial, the public and insurance sectors, which are central to the British economy.'

Stocks showed a strong upward move over the course of the trading day on Tuesday, adding to the gains posted in the previous session. The rally came even as traders expressed some uncertainty ahead of tomorrow's Federal Reserve announcement.
