Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL,DALRQ.PK) said system load factor for June 2012 was 88.1% compared to 86.3% last year.
Capacity, measured in available seat miles, or ASMs, declined 1.7% to 20.82 billion from 21.17 billion in the prior year. Revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, rose 0.4% to 18.33 billion from 18.26 billion in the previous year.
The company stated that its consolidated passenger unit revenue increased 8% year-over-year for the month of June. Delta Air Lines saw continued strength from corporate revenue, investments in products and services, capacity discipline and strong performance at LaGuardia Airport.
