Delta Air Lines June System Load Factor Rises - Quick Facts

Delta Air Lines Inc. (DAL: Quote,DALRQ.PK) said system load factor for June 2012 was 88.1% compared to 86.3% last year.

Capacity, measured in available seat miles, or ASMs, declined 1.7% to 20.82 billion from 21.17 billion in the prior year. Revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, rose 0.4% to 18.33 billion from 18.26 billion in the previous year.

The company stated that its consolidated passenger unit revenue increased 8% year-over-year for the month of June. Delta Air Lines saw continued strength from corporate revenue, investments in products and services, capacity discipline and strong performance at LaGuardia Airport.

The poll showed that 51 percent of Americans approve of the way Obama is handling his job as president compared to 44 percent that disapprove.
