Sourcefire Inc. (FIRE) Is Falling After CEO's Cancer Announcement

Sourcefire Inc. (FIRE) announced after the bell Monday that John Burris, its CEO and a member of the Board of Directors, has taken a medical leave of absence from his position as CEO, effective June 28, 2012, to undergo a series of treatments for colon cancer.

Sourcefire also announced that it currently expects revenue and adjusted net income per share for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 to be at the high end to slightly above the guidance range given on April 30, 2012.

Sourcefire gapped open lower Tuesday and has continued to fall on above average volume. Shares are now down 4.20 at $48.20. The stock is now testing the lower end of a one-month range.
