MModal Inc. (MODL: Quote) announced after the bell Monday that it agreed to be acquired by One Equity Partners, the private investment arm of JP Morgan Chase & Co. (JPM), for $14.00 per share in an all-cash transaction.
MModal gapped up sharply Tuesday and is currently higher by 1.12 at $14.05. The stock has climbed past the upper end of over a 2-month range and has set over an 11-month high.
