Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., a division of Toyota Motor Corp. (TM), reported that its U.S. vehicle sales for June 2012 increased 60.3 percent to 177,795 units from 110,937 units in the prior year month.
Total Toyota division sales were 157,773 units, up 57.5 percent from 100,164 units in the same month last year. Total Lexus division sales rose by 85.9 percent to 20,022 units from 10,773 units in the year-ago month.
There were 27 selling days in June 2012, compared to 26 selling days last year.
