CMT has landed the syndication rights of Reba, the family friendly sitcom starring country music legend Reba McEntire. Reba will air weeknights on CMT from 7-9 p.m. ET, starting this fall.
Alongside Reba will be another family friendly sitcom that CMT acquired, Yes, Dear, starring Anthony Clark and Jean Louisa Kelly.
"The right acquisitions play a crucial role in a network's success and Reba and Yes, Dear two shows that are absolutely right for CMT," a CMT rep told TalkTvWorld.com.
"We believe our audience played a large role in these two sitcoms' initial success, and that same audience will continue to drive its popularity weeknights on CMT," the rep added.
Reba originally ran for six seasons, totaling 127 episodes, on the WB and later on CW.
The new syndication deal for Reba follows this spring's news that McEntire's new sitcom Malibu Country will debut in November on ABC.
