Rocky Mountain Dealerships Completes Purchase Of 100% Shares Of Camrose Farm

Rocky Mountain Dealerships Inc., (RME.TO: Quote) said Tuesday that it has purchased 100 percent of the issued and outstanding shares of Camrose Farm Equipment Ltd, or CFE, for a cash consideration of $5.7 million.

CFE is a dealer of both Case IH and New Holland Agriculture equipment operating in Camrose and Killam, Alberta. For its most recent fiscal year, the company had agriculture-related revenues of about $54 million.

Matt Campbell , CEO of Rocky, said, "We view the acquisition of CFE as yet another positive initiative, as this acquisition was funded entirely with available cash and accordingly we believe it will begin immediately delivering accretive earnings."

There was a mixed performance on Wall Street on Friday. Shares suffered an early decline, as investors continued to express worries about the Federal Reserve. After reporting a sharp drop in new orders for manufactured durable goods in the previous month, the Commerce Department released a report on Friday showing that durable goods orders rebounded by more than anticipated in the month of April. The report said durable goods orders surged up by 3.3 percent in April after tumbling by a revised 5.9 percent in March.
