International Cons Airlines Group June Traffic Up 8.9% - Quick Facts

International Cons Airlines (BAY.L,BAIRY.PK,IAG.L) Wednesday said its group traffic increased for the month of June, helped mainly on higher capacity.

Group traffic measured in revenue passenger kilometers, for the month of June, rose 8.9 per cent to 15.78 billion from 14.49 billion in the same period last year.

Group capacity measured in available seat kilometers was 18.78 billion, up 5.8 per cent from 17.74 billion last year.

Load factor for the month of June increased 2.3 basis points to 84 percent from 81.7 percent last year. Group premium traffic for the month of June grew 5.3 per cent year-over-year, with 9.6 per cent growth in non-premium traffic.

Publishing and design software maker Adobe Systems Inc. said Tuesday after the markets closed that its second quarter profit fell 66% from last year, hurt by lower revenue as well as higher costs and expenses. However, the company's quarterly earnings per share, excluding items, came in above analysts' expectations and its quarterly revenue was in line with analysts' forecast.
