FedEx Corp. (FDX) Wednesday said its FedEx Express business unit has completed the acquisition of Brazilian logistics company, Rapidão Cometa.
The acquisition of Rapidão Cometa will strengthen the FedEx Express network in Brazil, giving customers a one-stop-shop for both domestic and international transportation and logistics services.
The company also appointed Américo Pereira Filho, Rapidão Cometa's current as vice president of FedEx Express LAC and president of FedEx Express, Brazil.
