In early Asian deals on Thursday, the Japanese yen declined against its key counterparts.
The yen dropped to 100.33 against the euro, 83.53 against the franc and 124.88 against the pound.
At the same time, the yen hit a 2-day low of 64.38 against the NZ dollar, 10-day low of 80.07 against the U.S. dollar, new 1-1/2-month low of 79.07 against the loonie and a fresh 2-month low of 82.27 against the aussie.
