KISS bassist Gene Simmons was a well-known womanizer earlier in his life, and now he admits that he was was "selfish" and "arrogant."
The rocker tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed earlier this year after dating for 28 years and says he has learned a lot from the relationship.
"I've been arrogant and selfish all my life, thought I could have my cake and eat it too and didn't want to ever answer, 'Where are you going?' Where am I going? Who wants to know? Shannon has been with me for 28, almost 29 years this August and has put up with my crap . . ." he told the UK's Daily Express.
"For her to stick around and put up with all that, and she knows everything, she knows where all the bodies are buried and all that," he added.
KISS' newest release Monster is due this fall.
