Gainers:

ShangPharma Corp. (SHP: Quote) is rising over 23 percent to $8.50. The company announced that it has received a non-binding proposal letter from its chairman and chief executive officer, Michael Xin Hui, and entities affiliated with him and TPG Star Charisma Ltd. and its affiliates in a going private transaction between $8.50 and $9.50 per ADS in cash.

Decliners:

Seagate Technology (STX: Quote) is down 3 percent to $24.32. The company lowered its fourth quarter revenue guidance citing lower shipments and a quality issue with a component supplier. The company also reduced its adjusted gross margin forecast.

Informatica Corp. (INFA: Quote) is down 28 percent to $31.21. The company lowered its second quarter earnings and revenue forecast, which is also below current Wall Street view. The company said it did not adapt as rapidly as it should have to the changing macroeconomic environment, especially in Europe.

Trading halt:

Trading in shares of Dynegy Inc. (DYN: Quote) was halted. The company has filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.

Stocks are turning in a lackluster performance in early trading on Monday after showing a strong move to the upside last week. The major averages are showing only modest moves, lingering near the unchanged line. The major averages are currently turning in a mixed performance, with the Nasdaq just above the unchanged line. Thailand lowered its full-year growth outlook after weaker domestic demand and exports weighed on economic activity in the first three months of the year. Gross domestic product expanded 5.3 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2013 compared to an upwardly revised 19.1 percent growth in the fourth quarter of 2012, the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) said Monday. The fifth consecutive monthly increase in the U.K. house prices amid limited supply took average asking prices to a record, a survey by Rightmove showed Monday. House prices hit a record GBP 249,841 in May, as new sellers raised their prices by 2.1 percent from the prior month. Prices were up by the same magniture in April.
