Apartment Investment and Management Co. (AIV), a real estate investment trust, said Friday that Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, the underwriters of its previously announced public offering of common stock, have fully exercised their option to purchase an additional 1.35 million shares of common stock from the company.
After giving effect to the exercise of the option, Apartment Investment and Management will have sold a total of 10.35 million shares of its common stock in the public offering.
The shares were sold to the underwriters at a price of $26.74 per share
