The Beatles and Queen are both included on the shortlist for a newly launched poll to find the U.K.'s all-time favorite number one hit single. The contest was started by the U.K.'s Official Charts Company and on it the Fab Four's "Hey Jude" and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" will square against a host of the U.K.'s biggest hit singles.
Other artists included in the contest are Abba, Adele, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Michael Jackson, Oasis and Whitney Houston. John Lennon's solo single, "Imagine," will also compete. That song placed number one on a similar poll held by BBC Channel 4 in 2000.
