The average asking price for a home in the United Kingdom continued to decline in June, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors said on Tuesday, as 22 percent more surveyors reported a fall in prices than those that saw an increase.
That follows the downwardly revised reading of -17 in May. Analysts were expecting -16, which would have been unchanged from the original reading.
Among the individual categories, 19 percent more said they expected conditions to worsen over the next 12 months; in May, it had been just 8 percent.
