A host of hip-hop and R&B's biggest names are set to make special guest appearances on an upcoming episode of Fox's animated series The Cleveland Show. Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, ?uestlove, and will.i.am have signed on to lend their animated likeness to the Family Guy spin off series.
Mike Henry, who voices Cleveland on the show, broke news of the new episode:
"We have an episode where Kanye and will.i.am, playing himself, and Nicki Minaj, playing herself, and Bruno Mars, playing himself, and ?uestlove—they're all part of the rap Illuminati, the secret group that controls pop culture," said Mike Henry, who voices Cleveland on the show.
Rap-up.com reports that the episode will be titled "Menace II Secret Society" and executive producer Rich Appel explained the plot, saying:
"Cleveland inadvertently breaks into it and then it's how he will either bring them down or they'll bring him down," he said. "We have a couple of original songs with Kanye and will and Bruno, I mean, all of them, it was great."
