Edens Edge, who toured with Brad Paisley last year, say that they had prepped a cover of Paisley's "Whiskey Lullaby," in case they got the opportunity to perform it with him.
The moment finally came for the country trio—comprised of Hannah Blaylock, Cherrill Green and Dean Berner—which Blaylock told Billboard was a memorable one:
"It was acoustic and really organic and so much fun. It was one of the coolest moments of our career."
The cover has now been featured in Billboard's "Candid Covers" series, which fans can stream freely through the site.
"We prepared 'Whiskey Lullaby' because it's one of our all-time favorite songs," Blaylock continued. "Not only because it's sung by two of our favorite artists ever, but just the song itself is such an amazing piece of art and music and we love sad songs."
