Corey Taylor was carried off the stage by security at a Slipknot performance at Dallas' Gexa Energy Pavillion on Tuesday (July 10) after passing out. The fainting spell occurred at the end of the last song of the band's set.
The singer, who was not hospitalized, hit Twitter shortly after the incident to ease the concern of his fans:
"Hello everyone. I'm fine - just overheated in Dallas last night. Ready and waiting for Houston! Thank you to everyone for your concerns!"
Fan-filmed video footage of the incident can be seen through various web outlets.
Slipknot's greatest hits compilation, and first release since the death of bassist Paul Gray in 2010, Antennas to Hell, is due July 24. The album is distributed on the Roadrunner label and includes a DVD of their 2009 Download Festival show.
