Richard Zanuck, the producer of blockbuster movies such as 'The Sound of Music', 'Driving Miss Daisy', 'Jaws' died at his Beverley Hills. He was 77.
His 50 year long filmmaking career has won many awards, including the Oscars. He has associated with the legendary Director Steven Spielberg in Jaws, one of the biggest Hollywood hits.
He was born to actress Virginia Fox, and 20th Century Fox chief Darryl Zanuck. Richard Zanuck became a producer at the age of 24. He was appointed the chief of production at 20th Century at the age of 28.
'Patton', 'The French Connection', 'Planet of the Apes', 'The Verdict', 'Cocoon', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Dark Shadows' are other famous movies produced by Zanuck.
He is survived by his wife and producer Lili Fini, and sons Harrison and Dean.
