A new book, published by Bloomsbury, is being released to celebrate the history of London's Abbey Road Studios, which people come to visit from far and wide.
The book, Abbey Road: the Best Studio in the World, written by Alistair Lawrence, is about the 80-year history of the EMI studio that's located at 3 Abbey Road in the St. John's Wood section of London.
Included in the work are rare photographs and stories about several of the artists who have recorded at the studio, such as the Beatles, Pink Floyd, XTC, Oasis and Radiohead. There is also a foreword by Sir George Martin, the producer of all but one of the Beatles' works.
There are a limited number of copies signed by Martin, which can be purchased exclusively through Bloomsbury's website.
