The Japanese yen eased from early uptrend against major currencies during New York afternoon deals on Tuesday. The yen is presently trading near 97.10 against the euro, 80.84 versus the Swiss franc, 123.68 against the British pound, 63.12 versus the NZ dollar, 81.50 against the Australian dollar and 78.09 versus the Canadian dollar from early highs of 96.43, 80.31, 123.00, 62.70, 80.97 and 77.72, respectively.
