Justin Bieber's latest LP, Believe, featured a host of guest spots including Nicki Minaj, Drake and Ludacris; however, Taylor Swift fans were left wondering why the rumored duet did not make the cut.
"It didn't go on Believe, because there's another record they want to work on," Bieber's manager Scooter Braun told MTV News. "So, it just didn't make sense at this time, and the song they did just didn't make sense on this album."
The Bieb's girlfriend, Selena Gomez, has heard the track and, speaking with E! News, praised the collab:
"It's beautiful. It's amazing. I'm sure they'll release it at some point, because it's a really great record. It's kind of like . . . it's Taylor and Justin combined. So it's a little bit of an upbeat song, but it's very acoustic."
