Performances from the first ever Johnny Cash Music Festival will air live on several television networks later this month. The fest, which took place last year, was also filmed and recorded for a DVD/CD that is set for release July 31.
Various country stars including Kris Kristofferson, George Jones, Rodney Crowell, Rosanne Cash and John Carter Cash are featured in the tribute performances.
It will first air on RFD-TV on July 26 at 7:00 PM ET, then again on July 28 at 6:00 PM ET. GAC will also broadcast the show on July 28 at 8:00 PM ET.
Next year's event is schedule for October 5 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
