Estonia's producer price inflation weakened from the previous month in June, data released by Statistics Estonia showed Friday.
The producer price index increased 1.5 percent on an annual basis in June, slower than the 2 percent gain seen in May.
Prices in the manufacturing sector advanced 1 percent annually, while output prices in the mining and quarrying industry moved up 1.7 percent. Costs of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply were higher by 5.5 percent compared to an year earlier.
Compared to May, the index remained unchanged during the month, the agency said.
At the same time, the export price index remained unchanged year-on-year in June, while sequentially it decreased 1.7 percent. Import prices were higher by 3.8 percent compared to June 2011, and down by 1.5 percent month-on-month, data showed.
