Slovenia Output Price Inflation Weakens In June

Slovenia's producer price inflation slowed in June after quickening in the previous month, data released by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Friday.

The producer price index increased 0.7 percent on an annual basis in June, following the previous month's 1 percent gain. In April, the inflation rate was 0.7 percent.

Output prices on the domestic market were higher by 0.8 percent compared to last year, while export market prices moved up 0.5 percent.

Producer prices in the manufacturing sector rose 0.7 percent annually in June, while mining and quarrying prices gained 0.8 percent, data showed.

In June, producer prices edged up 0.1 percent from May, when it advanced 0.2 percent sequentially, the agency said.
