Pre-market Movers For July 20 (GE, GOOG, MSFT, XRX, BHI, SLB, IR, AMD, SNDK,CMG)

Gainers:

Baker Hughes Inc. (BHI) is gaining nearly 8 percent to $45.01. The company's second quarter net income surged from the year-ago quarter. Revenue for the quarter rose 12 percent and was above Wall Street view. Meanwhile, the company said it is cautiously optimistic about the market outlook for the remainder of the year.

Schlumberger Ltd. (SLB) is rising more than 1 percent to $69.75. The company's second quarter profit increased from the previous year period. Revenues jumped from the year-ago quarter and managed to breeze past the consensus estimate.

Google (GOOG), Microsoft (MSFT) and SanDisk (SNDK) are trading higher in reaction to their results.

Decliners:

General Electric Co. (GE) is down over 1 percent to $19.56. The company's second quarter operating earnings improved from the year-ago quarter and were above Wall Street view. Revenues increased 2 percent, but were below the consensus estimate. The company also announced that will reorganize its Energy business into three standalone businesses effective in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Xerox Corp. (XRX) is falling 4 percent to $6.90. The company's second quarter profit and revenues declined from the prior year period. The company's adjusted earnings per share were in-line with Wall Street, while its revenues missed the consensus estimate.

Ingersoll-Rand (IR) is down 0.72 percent to $41.17. The company's second quarter profit jumped from the previous year period, while revenues declined by 7 percent. The company raised its full-year forecast for earnings per share from continuing operations, but lowered the high end of its revenue guidance.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Cepheid (CPHD) and Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) are trading lower based on their results announcement.

Trading halt:

Trading in shares of TAM S.A. (TAM) was halted.
