Sacha Baron Cohen and David Letterman have settled a lawsuit brought by Palestinian grocer, Ayman Abu Aita, whom was portrayed as a terrorist in Baron Cohen's movie, "Bruno."
In the film, Baron Cohen plays a flamboyant Austrian fashion journalist, attempting to promote peace in the Middle East.
His character interviews the grocer, who is labeled as a member of the militant Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade. Aita's suit notes that he is a "peace-loving person" not involved with the Martyr's brigade.
Baron Cohen would later again call Aita a terrorist during a promotional chat with Letterman, prompting Aita to receive death threats and lose business.
A report from the Press Association reveals that the case has been "settled to the mutual satisfaction" of everyone involved; however, precise figures were not disclosed.
