Mumford & Sons appear on Jerry Douglas' new album, Traveler. The British folk band helps the instrumentalist Douglas crank out an updated rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's classic "The Boxer," along with the aid of none other than Paul Simon himself.
There are a number of other cameos on the album, including guest spots by Eric Clapton, Marc Cohn, Alison Krauss and Keb' Mo.
Douglas, who traditionally has produced bluegrass music, told Billboard that the guest appearances helped him to "get out of my comfort zone."
"I wanted to get about as far away from bluegrass as I could," he told the publication. Traveler is in stores now.
