Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor says he has no recollection of his recent onstage collapse. The singer went unconscious during a Texas concert last week.
"It was really, really, really hot. I kind of had a heatstroke blackout," Taylor recalls, Antimusic.com reports. "I finished the show but I don't remember the last two songs."
Taylor says that he didn't know anything had happened until he came to: "I woke up backstage - apparently I collapsed onstage. It scared the crap out of me."
The singer noted that their onstage get-up might not be the best thing to wear on stage in the Texas heat: "We wear masks and coveralls in 110-degree heat."
Taylor appears good to go for the next Slipknot show, having suffered no ill longterm effects from the incident.
