3M Co. (MMM: Quote) said, through its New Ventures Business, it has invested in 7AC Technologies Inc., a Woburn, Mass.-based developer of high efficiency heating, ventilation and air conditioning or HVAC systems that use liquid desiccant technology to remove humidity from the air. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The poll showed that 54 percent of Americans are following the news that the IRS targeted conservative groups for greater scrutiny "very" or "somewhat" closely.
