Auburn National Bancorporation Posts Higher Q2 Profit

Auburn National Bancorporation, Inc. (AUBN: Quote) reported second-quarter net earnings of $2.0 million or $0.56 per share, up from $1.5 million or $0.40 per share in the same period last year.

Operating net earnings for the quarter was $1.9 million or $0.51 per share, compared to $1.7 million or $0.46 per share last year.

Net interest income for the quarter rose to $5.3 million from $5.1 million in the year-ago quarter, and non-interest income increased to $1.8 million from $1.3 million last year.

Provision for loan losses for the quarter was same as last year's $600,000 in the same period.
