An indecency claim filed against Katy Perry and cricket star Doug Bollinger will likely go to court in India. The pair appeared on stage together during the opening ceremony for the Indian Premier League in April and made some audience members uncomfortable.
During the appearance, Bollinger wrapped his arms around Perry from behind, simulating the swinging motion of a cricket bat. Some audience members filed a complaint, suggesting that the movement was overly sexualized therefore inappropriate for a public performance.
Perry and Bollinger were not, however, the only stars cited in the claim. Bollywood legends Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra were also reportedly named in the complaint as was IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla.
