The Australian dollar retreated from its Asian session's highs against the currencies of Canada, U.S. and Japan during European morning trading on Tuesday.
The aussie is now trading at 1.0284 against the greenback, 1.0485 against the loonie and 80.36 against the yen, down from early highs of 1.0311, 1.0501 and 80.75, respectively.
