China will send eight inspection teams later this month to various cities and provinces to check the implementation of property tightening measures, reports said Tuesday.

The State Council said that if there is any deviation or non-compliance of property rules, the inspection team will order local governments to correct practices.

The latest report from the National Bureau of Statistics, published on July 17, showed that among 70 major cities, only 21 recorded a month-on-month decline in home prices in June compared to 40 in May. Price growth was recorded in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
