The Swiss franc declined further against most of its major counterparts during New York mid-day trading on Tuesday. As of now, the franc is trading near a 20-month low of 0.9964 against the US dollar, which may be compared to yesterday's close of 0.9914.
Against the British and Japanese currencies, the franc also showed weakness in today;s mid-day session and presently trading at 1.5464 against the sterling and 78.52 versus the yen from early European session's highs of 1.5361 and 79.12, respectively.
