Sofia Vergara ("Modern Family") will join the cast of "Family Guy" for an episode, in which she plays the role of a love object to the titular character, Peter Griffin.
Sofia is featured in one of the program's cutaway gags, during which Peter imagines himself as a lothario in a telenovela, with Vergara voicing the role of his lover. Later on in the episode, according to Huffington Post, she plays the role of a lady selling flowers in a restaurant, where Quagmire and Peter are enjoying a meal.
The episode featuring the 40-year-old actress will air during the 11th season, set to premiere September 30.
In addition, ew.com reports, she will voice the role of Tia Sofia during a hip-hop-themed episode of animated sitcom, "The Cleveland Show."
