Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) Tuesday said it has signed a patent cross-license agreement with Amdocs Software Systems Ltd., thereby providing mutual access to each company's patent portfolio.
The agreement will also allow Amdocs to use Linux-based servers in Microsoft's data centers.
The agreement adds to more than a 1,100 patent agreements signed by Microsoft in the past decade.
