Journey has decided to extend its North American tour by more than 40 dates. The tour launched this past week and will now keep the band on the road all the way through December.
The iconic 70s rock group will hit stops all across North America before wrapping the tour with two concerts in Honolulu, Hawaii's Blaisdell Arena on December 12 and 14.
Pat Benatar and Loverboy are slated to open most shows through mid-November. Night Ranger will then replace Benatar once the tour hits Winnipeg on November 19.
Journey's last studio album, Eclipse, came out in 2011 and was the second album to feature Filipino vocal sensation Arnel Pineda. The band toured behind that album last summer.
