Hyperion Therapeutics Inc. (HPTX) said it has priced its initial public offering of 5.0 million shares at $10.00 per share, before underwriting discounts and commissions. All of the common stock is being offered by Hyperion. Further, the underwriters have a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 750,000 common shares from Hyperion to cover over-allotments, if any.
Hyperion's shares would trade on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol "HPTX" beginning on July 26, 2012, and the offering may close on July 31, 2012. Leerink Swann LLC and Cowen and Company, LLC are serving as joint book-running managers for the proposed offering. Needham & Company, LLC is acting as a co-manager for the proposed offering.
