Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have posed for promo pictures for the upcoming season of the X Factor, which have now been released to the public.
Both singers were chosen to fill the roles of former judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who were in place for the first season of the show. Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid remain on the show as well.
When asked by Collider.com why she decided to join the show as a judge, Britney responded:
"Well, actually, I'd seen the show a couple of times, and I was such a fan of the show, and my make-up artist was the make-up artist for Simon. We talked about it a couple of times, when I was on tour, but really never took it seriously until she went back and started working for him. And then, we just all met up, and it made sense. I adore Simon, and it was something I really wanted to do."
The season premiere of X Factor is in September.
