Lithuania's consumer confidence deteriorated in July, data released by the Department of Statistics showed Monday.
The consumer confidence index decreased to -18 in July from -15 in June. In July 2011, the reading was -15.
Among components, the measure of households' views of their financial situation in the coming 12 months edged up to -6 in July from -7 in the previous month. Consumers were more downbeat about the general economic condition in July, with the relevant indicator falling to -8 from -7 in June.
The sub-index that measures consumers' expectations of unemployment in the next 12-month period, advanced to 17 from 11 in the previous month, data showed.
